Rector of the Jagiellonian University announces a contest for the position of a Postdoc/Scientific Assistant in the Max Planck Research group at the Małopolska Centre of Biotechnology (funded by FNP FirstTEAM Grant).

Eligible contestants must meet the requirements in art. 109, which was established in 27.07.2005 followed by the Law on Higher Education (Dz. U. nr 164, poz. 1365, z późn. zm.) and meet the following qualification criteria:

The ideal candidate should:

1. Hold a doctoral degree/PhD in biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular cell biology or any related field of life sciences
2. Have a strong expertise in molecular biology, cell biology and structural biology
3. Have excellent written and oral communication skills in English (essential)
4. Have good presentation skills (ideally having presented on at least one international research conference)
5. enjoy working in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment
6. enjoy scientifically supporting and actively interacting with other members of the lab
7. Have published at least one publications as first author in an international peer reviewed journal
