Rector of the Jagiellonian University announces a contest for the position of Technical Assistant (biologist) in the Laboratory of Bionanoscience and Biochemistry MAŁOPOLSKA CENTRE OF BIOTECHNOLOGY (NCN POLONEZ 1 - NZ).

The ideal candidate should:

1. Possess at least a undergraduate degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, biophysics or any related field of life sciences
2. Have working experience in a laboratory environment in academia or industry
3. Have a strong expertise and experience in working with DNA gyrase especially production of DNA gyrase and carrying out gyrase inhibition assays, preferably including large-scale screening.
4. Have good written and oral communication skills in English
5. Have good skills of work management and experimental record keeping
6. Show a good level of independence, determination and reliability
7. Able to work collaboratively
